gwalchmai
My in-laws have a laundry sink they want removed. Have any of you used Sharkbites to cap off supply lines? These will not be hidden behind walls. Thanks!
SC Tiger
I've used them temporarily. I keep a couple in my toolbox for that purpose. What material is the supply line? For a permanent solution it would be better to use something more permanent.

Though I've used SharkBites a lot and haven't had any issues.
RenoF250
Sharkbites are pretty tough. I have never used them but all testing shows they hold up well. The only real problem is the o-ring breaking down and leaking. Matt Rinsinger on youtube did some tests on them and they held up well.

I agree. Soldering, when done properly, leaves no question.
