In May, Biden announced he would raise the refugee resettlement cap to 62,500 refugees for Fiscal Year 2021, more than four times the cap that former President Trump imposed for the year at about 15,000 refugees.

For Fiscal Year 2022, which begins October 1, Biden will set the cap at 125,000 refugees who can be resettled across the U.S. over the subsequent 12 months, a State Department notice to Congress confirmed. The data projects that the Biden administration will have brought about 12,500 refugees to the U.S. by the end of Fiscal Year 2021.

In addition to increasing refugee resettlement, Biden rescinded an order that allowed states and localities to decide whether they wanted refugee resettlement in their communities. The order, signed by Trump, gave Americans veto power over the program that they, for decades, have been shut out of.

Here is something any honest person must acknowledge: As America has become more secular, it has become less free.

Individuals can differ as to whether these two facts are correlated, but no honest person can deny they are facts.

It seems to me indisputable that they are correlated. To deny this, one would have to argue that it is merely coincidental that free speech, the greatest of all freedoms, is more seriously threatened than at any time in American history while a smaller-than-ever percentage of Americans believe in God or regularly attend church.

Ice cream maker Ben and Jerry's rolled out a new flavor this week (Change is Brewing) that the liberal company says will aid the "Defund the Police" movement.

The company debuted the new flavor Monday, saying a portion of the profits will supplement Missouri Democratic Rep. Cori Bush 's $10 billion bill to hire social workers to perform some public safety tasks previously handled by police.
