Team Ron DeSantis

As most should know, Florida is now facing a true socialist in the race for Governor, who is backed by Soros, Sanders and mainstream media like CNN.

Needless to say, this is a major issue for me as a Floridian and our members from Florida. If we are not only turning blue but basically socialistic, I'll be outta here. And I'll take my company with me.

This time around it will be necessary to come out and be active. It won't be done by sitting at home and hoping for the best.

I'll be joining Ron DeSantis and his team by contributing funds as well as actively campaigning for him. I hope some of you may join!

DeSantis is a young and successful family man, veteran, educated at Harvard and Yale.

He ticks all the right check-boxes ranging from better education, our economy and preventing tax increases long-term, fighting supreme court manipulation, immigration, defending the First Amendment speech rights against those in academia / media / politics who seek to silence conservatives, a no compromise stance on the 2nd, and the red tide mess on our beaches:

Yup. This is going to be one scary Florida election - especially since a large portion of retirees on the First Coast are ComiDems and Tallahassee is loaded with ComiDems too.

The Hill is left biased. The last thing we need is to share (or even care) their crap. The left and the biased media will dig deep, they will find crap, they will throw it at the wall. Don't fall for this bullying and trolling. Focus on the path forward and become active.

We really need to get out of this hole. The media and left has us where they want us. Immobile in the corner and only paying attention to them, their lies, twists and agenda. We need to step it up and get back to being strong and not bullied. At the end of the day, they are the weak, they are the ones often dependent on governmental help, or for laws that lets them get away with crime, asking to limit our rights which they fear.

He would have been far better off to have accidentally dropped the F bomb. TOS would have deemed it racist by some far fetched stretch of their race baiting imagination, but the Dems wouldn't have been offended at all.

I've usually found The Hill to have pretty straightforward reporting.  Sure, the Op Eds are usually tilted left, but nowhere near as much as Politico.

There really isn't much of a choice here. The Democrat really has no comparable record.  Rick Scott is going to win the Senate seat as well.

Did you see the numbers of Democrats who voted versus Republicans?   Way more Republicans showed up.

Below is a rather recent poll showing how people rate The Hill. That's a very clear impression. This morning The Hill only cared to show Gillum as the winner on the front page, totally ignoring that DeSantis has also won. It only takes one big picture look to see the strong left leaning bias.

I'm not disagreeing with you.  I find it to be pretty straightforward in political reporting compared to all other political outlets.

There was a shift to the right throughout. FOX used to be right leaning, today they are pretty center.

I collect my data from an array of sources ranging from Breitbart, Mark Dice down to raw footage on LiveLeak. It is not easy to filter the noise and the opinions out, but with most current MSM you won't even get proper facts.

DeSantis will really have to make a series of bad blunders to screw this one up. Never say never when the GOP is involved tho. They have a knack for snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

I do think he's got this one. I heard him on FOX this morning listing some of the avenues to attack Gillum's record. Ongoing scandals, mismanagement of his city, etc.

You are right to become involved. The stakes are higher when a full-on leftist is a possibility. That also gives pause to those in the middle that don't want Venezuela brought to Florida. My own state dems just nominated his female twin, socialist warrior. The GOP guy here may have more issues with the middle. His primary was totally non PC.
