The Blues decided on the, Let's all stand around and admire Boston's play while they whistle pucks past our goal  tender.

The Bruins didn't try to make all of those perfect pass plays last night and it showed.

When both treams play well, as they did in game 2, it is a pleasure to watch.

I hope game 4 is more interesting.

Very good game, except for the final score.  I thought when Boston held off that five minute Blues frenzy in the Boston zone, and then immediately scored a short-handed goal, it would take the life out of the Blues.  Unfortunately, I was wrong.  ;^>

I am with the Kid of Huaco.

Seven games.

May the best team win.

Hard not to enjoy quality hockey regardless of who you're rooting for.

St. Louis is the right team to play Boston.  San Jose wouldn't have been up to it.

However, a Boston fan should appreciate that we Blues guys have been waiting for 50 years, dang it.

I'm afraid of seven games.  I want it over soonest...for the Bruins.  The Blues have been playing way too much in the Bruins' end (no pun intended).

And as for how long Blues fans have waited, it's nowhere near what Red Sox fans waited, so suck it up.  ;^>

Shooting at an empty net is actually bad ju-ju.

We learned, as little kids, it can backfire.  Quick.

Just dump it out.

Unless you can hand it to your own goalie,  and let him get an empty-net goal!

Which is the coolest thing you can do as a hockey team!

Which is the stupidest thing you can do as a hockey team.

Because it'll backfire on you.  Immediately.

That's the only reason competitive sports exist!

You know what I meant, ya galoot.

The Blues abandoned their fore check for almost the entire second and third periods.

I do admire that they began to trap at their blue line, but they played a defensive game based on one goal.

Me, I like defensemen that skate the puck out of danger rather then just toss it up the boards again and again, but that isn't today's game.

I am also not a fan of the high to low forecheck unless you have Al MacInnes or Sergei Zubov on the point.

Again, the Bruins passed up shots on goal for the miracle passes.

Don't tell them.

Ron Hextall and Marty Brodeur have done it.

I think Brodeur has done it twice.

86° in SL right now (and has been warmer than that the last couple days).

Not having a lot of practice (ahem) keeping ice this far into the spring (spring?),  I wonder if it's going to have an effect.  It could really slow things down.
