tadbart
That is fear inspiring to a Floridian. Kinda looks like hurricane storm surge.
Steelharp
Ok, you got me. I fell for it. Time lapse. It doesn't say how long it actually took...
Dric902
I went to work 4:00am, in the yard office getting paperwork for a train to come home. -8, wind chill -22 a yard conductor walks in (30+years seniority) his beard and ‘stache are frozen, his coat could have stood up by itself. He walks in and takes off his coat, jacket, liner, hat, scarf, etc. sots down at the table and grabs a paper towel to dry off his beard. Looks at my conductor and says, just as even as can be, “cold out there” my conductor (40+ years) looks up and says ”yeah, that’s what I hear” “coffees fresh” “thanks” I love working with the old guys, nothing gets to them. 23 years and I’m still the kid . Me to. 15 inches in 13 seconds would look like an avalanche. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Rocketsteve
My sister-in-law lives just a short drive from Traverse City. She told us that, with all the new snow dumped by the Polar Vortex, she thinks it might be June before all the snow melts. Gotta love Michigan... ?
