I have a septic system at my house.  I pump my water up from the underground river via a well.  When Hurricane Mickey blew through and knocked the power out and flooded the treatment plants, most of the people in the county had no water or sewer.  I plugged one generator into the pump and had running water.  I plugged my 10K watt into my 32' Jayco in the back yard and I had AC, hot water showers and cold beer in the fridge.  I might be a country redneck, but I was living better than those city snowflakes
