That is so cool.  I would have as many dogs if I could and take care of them properly.

My sister always says that if she would every win big lottery money, she would buy big acreage somewhere, fence it off, build her house on it and take in every stray dog she could come up with. She would hire her kids to run it and me to manage the money.

And the staff was always well fed!

I knew a guy that lived in a VERY rural woods.  Several of the dogs were "his".  The rest would just show up, one at a time,  until there were dozens.  It was definitely a "pack" of feral dogs.  He'd feed them.  If one came at him, it was DRT.

It was very creepy to watch them run as a pack when they'd hear something in the woods.  They'd swirl around the yard a time or two,  and disappear into the darkness.  No one could EVER sneak up on this guy's house.

He said every so often,  when the pack got too big, he'd cull it back down to "his" dogs.  And it would quickly start growing again.

 i help rescue dogs  and do some free transports  but that would crash me  lol
