Long story short Lennox. Unit crapped out tonight at m y mom's house current unit  24years old .4 ton does Lennox still . make good ones. Quote d 7,200 install Ed. All new whole system. My dad has used same local company before he died in94. Just wanna a feel if newer units are better since it has been 24 years

Yep, the price is about right.  You got your money's worth on the old one.  Trane, Carrier, Lennox are all about the same, but don't expect to get more than 10 years out of a new one.

Yeah I kinda figured with the junk that's. Made now .had to crap out worse popular moment . Im on my last nerve .I've had2 other bad crap already this week .also freaking walking dead sick as hell.

24 years is very good usage.  Like said most are similar in build, warranty and replaceable parts are big to look at also efficiency.

yeah they have been here in businesss for over 50 years , im guessing now lENNOX  has gone down a bit as they recommend  Amana and said its all made here in usa and if need parts  one of their warehouses is close to here . so i dunno , i just really did not need this right now . we are in process of trying to clean out her house , and gonna be below freezing this whole week .  i guess it is what it is .
