They played two songs, and then the singer came out and said.... "How far did you guys drive to get here?!?" We all yelled. "How much did you pay for your tickets?!?" We all yelled. And then he said, "Why did y'all pay that much and drive that far, just to sit on your dead asses???" .4 seconds later, the whole stage was knee-deep in beer cans. They didn't play any more. And I was cheap. So we walked to the concert. Two miles. 10 minutes. Piece of cake. Waltzed right in. Got drunk. Hated Kid Joe. And rebuffed the afterwards. And cabs.
