The problem with an emotional response to suffering, is that too often no attempt is made to ensure the results are what was intended.

When you vet the groups you are trying to help, liberals working with emotion only, claim that you are depriving others that need help also. This is a lie.

This article is the result of pouring help/aid into groups with no insurance that it's being used as intended.  This happens to American Largesse all the time.

My family has a Master Chief in the Navy group that was trying to provide aid to Puerto Rico after the previous hurricane.  The aid was rejected by the nation's government, unless it was given to them to in turn, sell to the people in need. 

The government insisted on graft and corruption payments to let American aid be given to the people.  The ship he was on simply left port, and told the government to get out of the picture so the aid had some assurance of getting to those that needed it.

The liberals response to this was the claim that American aid was being withheld from the unfortunate people that needed it, instead of admitting that the corrupt government demanded the aid be given to it instead.

Now we have a current hurricane, and these same liberals are singing the same tune.  When you haven't the ability to recognize graft and corruption that is staring you in the face, you have no right to criticize those trying their best to provide help to the people that need it.  Not to the criminals that plan to make money off the benevolence of the USA.

Our country must make sure that the money and goods being provided are truly going for a good cause, and not just for political talking points of the ignorant left.
