Is this what they mean when they say someone is out, standing in a field.

For several months I had been checking an area of the ranch not currently in use, and finding cow tracks and manure.  Never could find a cow.  I started calling her the "Ghost Cow".  One day I was checking that area again and there she was.  I just gently drove/coaxed her back to the main herd.  I don't think there are any more left in that area.  It's never a bad idea to cruise an area where cattle are thought not to be, just to check for sign.
