Moshe
http://www.beretta.com/en/new-92x-performance/ It looks like a 1911 and a 92F had a baby. Is the 1300.00 price tag worth it?
blueiron
Lots of GIs that came aboard from the mid-1980s to today who enjoy the practical shooting game will buy these and so will older cops who recall their time hauling around a 92/96. There are plenty of civilian shooters that enjoy Beretta 92/96 pistols and these are a lot less money than the Billenium, the 92 Combat, and other specialty runs that Beretta did years ago. Considering all the options on it and the Beretta name, the price is on the inexpensive side.
G26S239
For me it is not because the Vertec grip doesn't appeal to me but it should appeal to others. My 92 is a standard 92FS that I bought mostly because it has a role in American history. For an alloy framed double stack 9mm I still like my P229 Tutone better but maybe after I retire I will shoot the 92 a bit more often.
Moshe
I like the M9A3, but that is nearly as expensive.

Chowser
I'm hoping it's cheaper when it releases. I keep looking at the grey/black M9A3 G for $750.
