French Protests and Tipping Point in the US

After reading threads on the Yellow Vest protests in France, I started thinking about what the tipping point would be in the United States for similar protests and bank runs nationwide.

It is my opinion that if Demo-rats and some Republicant’s had their way, we would be taxed like the French and other EU nations. Seems like the endgame for Demo-rats is for us to be unarmed and more socialized like Europe. Which really makes me wonder, what the tipping point is in America?

My past beliefs has always been that as long as we have the following, protests and violence will not happen.

1. Cheap carbohydrates

2. Internet and cable TV access

3. Average gasoline prices under $5/gallon

Thoughts?
