I got a smoking deal on a 10.5" 300 upper. What lower and brace setup would people recommend? Any other recs for a build, trigger, bolt carrier, etc..?

Primary Arms? I just got a 10.5 300 upper. I put it on my Doublestar SBR lower. I'll probably plop the EOTech that was on the 556 upper, along with the Magpul BUIS and call it my new PDW.

Deals to be had on Anderson's and Aero lowers but the tend is a downward spiral for most. KAK Shockwave brace has been the most cost effective. Triggers run the gambit from Alg's Act trigger $60, to LaRue's about $110 and north to Geissele's offerings, so it really depends on how much you want to fork out. I have a couple of the first two mentioned and have no complaints as they are really good value for the money for me.

Barring some wacky out-of-spec brand I have never seen, a lower receiver is a lower receiver. Whatever is cheap - a $60 Anderson worked fine on the .300 pistol I built.

CYA, You probably know this already, but make sure to get a lower that was built and never used (never had a rifle stock installed even if it is still new). As soon as it hits the books as a rifle it is always going to be a rifle. Some of the makers like Spikes are also good about calling the caliber "Multi". To me getting one marked multi makes good sense, because I might want to change the caliber up later or have multiple uppers for one lower.
