I know the big bore double rifle guys use blue dot with a filler in cartridges in place of BP. Wondering if anyone here has ever seen that done, or loose in a front stuffer? Highspeedlane Posted January 31, 2020 Share Posted January 31, 2020 Only tried IMR 3031 in a .45-70 Trapdoor loading once, with cardboard over powder wad and cornmeal filler to fill out the rest of the case to the base of the bullet.
