gwalchmai
Mrs. G sent me out to pick up a pizza for dinner. As I was coming back home I drove down one of our local streets which was lined with flags over crosses for Memorial Day. I noticed that the cable tie on one flag had broken loose and the flag was hanging by its lower mooring. I said to myself "We can't have that", and since our house was just a few blocks away I stopped, took the flagpole out of the mount, and put it in the truck to take home to repair. I got it home and quickly repaired the attachment, then drove back out to the place where I'd found it to put it back. It was then that I took notice of the name on the cross - "Jimmy Mansour - Korea", my nextdoor neighbor for almost twenty years. It gave me a good feeling because that's just the kind of thing Jimmy would have done. 4
