  1. I don't live there any more, but when I lived in Lafayette Billeauds was a great place for both boudin and cracklin. The store is actually in Broussard, but it's close enough.
  2. I believe Psalm 139:13-16 can give us a better interpretation.... "For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them."
  3. What I find amusing is the amount of pearl clutching that's going on, now. People that would have you believe they're intelligent sat aside and let the homosexuals started their assault on American society, finally gaining the coveted "marriage" designation and paving the way for further perversion to take root. Now it's the transgender issue, and there are still people attempting to stand aside with some sort of neutrality, even while they are pushing to subvert our children. Next will be the normalization of "minor attracted persons", something that we were told would NEVER happen here, just like all the other perversions that have followed from the homosexual movement. The problem is people have no real concept of evil; they keep talking as if this is a mental issue when it's not. A mental issue would not be pushing so hard to destroy our children and our society; evil would, and is. For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse. For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Claiming to be wise, they became fools, and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things. Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, (sexual liberation) because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen. For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error. (gay and lesbian activities, resulting in aids and monkeypox) And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a reprobate (the greek means "non-functioning") mind to do what ought not to be done. They were filled with all manner of unrighteousness, evil, covetousness, malice. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, maliciousness. They are gossips, slanderers, haters of God, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, foolish, faithless, heartless, ruthless. Though they know God's righteous decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them. Romans 1:18-32 Tell me, do we not see "non-functioning" minds all over the place today? The denial of the very basic laws of nature in order to allow for their perverse desires. Logic and reason are thrown to the wind in order to chase a narrative that can be easily debunked, if only people were willing to use their mind. Back in the 80's people were warned about allowing this evil to fester, but now we have the flowering of people's willingness to let it bide. If you weren't sounding the alarm bells back then, look in the mirror if you want someone to blame for this.
  4. If many more retards that think violence is an answer to words caught a bullet to the brain, out country would be a better place.
  5. You say. Exhibit 1 Exhibit 2
  6. So the Christian Right is just as bad as the people that advocate and celebrate the murder of unborn, and possibly even shortly after birth, humans?
  7. Actually, he's not. I'm always astounded by people that have read bits and pieces of the Bible and now feel that can speak with authority as to it's context and meaning. That "pastor" is completely off the rails, and I guess he is one of the false teachers we are warned about.
  8. Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business, and make a profit.” You do not even know what will happen tomorrow! What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. Instead, you ought to say, “If the Lord is willing, we will live and do this or that.”
  9. It's pronounced just like we'd say "gym". And here is a string orchestra version for you
  10. And for that relaxing afternoon...
  11. I always have to recall these stories whenever I hear a member of this board, or the one that shall not be named, who happens to be an active peace officer, protest that should the government ever try to seize the weaponry of it's citizens they and their police buddies would never follow that request. They are, in the end, subjects of their government master and will absolutely do it's bidding. Concerns for their own welfare, and that of their family, should they run afoul of the government, will prompt action.
  12. The funniest part about this is, the 3 million death stat is probably true but it's "positioning" is the problem. Over 57 million people die worldwide every year, so yes, the global death toll could easily be approaching 3 million. But put that factual number in big letters on a screen with nothing but covid stuff, and people will make an assumption. If called out they can honestly say that the number true, just "mistakenly" placed or some such.
  13. The problem is, you can find anything if you look hard enough. Yes, it sounds like they both have gone through some serious crap, but you never see/hear an interview from someone who barely had any issues do you? It doesn't fit the narrative.
  14. Is it dead?! - Rocco, Boondock Saints
  15. Do we? How does she know those were the two? From an artists sketch? What if she was wrong? Do the men get to torture he granddaughter to death as compensation for their loss? It never fails to astound me how unintelligent people become in their quest for vengeance. Because that's what it is, not a quest for justice.
