President Trump not only canceled Pelosi's flight using Government Aircraft, He Canceled everybody's flights and transportation until the shutdown has ended. On Friday was released to heads of departments in the government a note from acting Office of Management and Budget director Russell Vought. “In light of the current partial government shutdown, the president has asked me to direct the heads of all executive departments and agencies of the administration on new policies in support of Legilsative Branch travel.” “Under no circumstances during a government shutdown will any government owned, rented, leased, or chartered aircraft support any congressional delegation, without the express written approval of the White House Chief of Staff. Nor will any funds appropriated to the executive branch be used for any congressional delegation travel expenses, without his express written approval. She is the First Lady, and a damn fine one at that. She has no control over the shutdown. Her Secret Service detail, which is accompanying her on the trip per safety protocol, is part of the 800,000 federal employees working without a paycheck.
