Mrs.Cicero
I can't drink the pre-workout stuff. The last one I tried kicked up an asthma attack. Just water w/cider vinegar in it is fine. If I start to crash two hours after the workout, I'll go find a Red Bull somewhere.

For general "stay awake" purposes, I use 5 Hour Energy. It is more likely to help me not pass out without feeling like... 0530 comes early. Coffee is to be coherent, and deal with all things around me that need to be done.

Moeman
Isn’t post workout more important?
Administrators Rabbi Posted January 21, 2019 Administrators Share Posted January 21, 2019 3 hours ago, Moeman said: Isn’t post workout more important? From a nutritional standpoint, generally yes. The issue is they do not really serve the same purpose. “Pre-workout” as implied by an energy drink, is mostly about a quick boost for a workout, either more intense or just to get through it at all. Your post workout drink/meal is about nutritionally advantaging the workout you just had.
