New hat...

Not sure if there was a thread here or somewhere else in which someone posted their new hat they bought, but it was a cool pub style cap and it got me to searching for something similar.

Found this on Amazon and bought it...

Got it in today and the girlfriend approves.  I have a billion ballcaps, but this goes better with my Carhart Shoreline jacket and Dockers pants...

Great hats. My wife got me a couple of them. Very comfortable.

I ordered one of the Australian style western hats the other day, dark brown wool felt crusher. Have one in tan, comfortable to wear.,

I hate getting my head burnt, I have a brown mole spot on my forehead I am always concerned about, I really need to wear more sun screen, but usually pull on a brimmed hat when headed out into the sun. Boonie when yard working, skull cap when bike riding with helmet with vents, watch cap in winter.

My biggest exposure threat is my windshield when working which is about 8' wide and 6' tall. And I'm not supposed to be wearing a hat while driving, though I do keep a baseball cap on hand when driving into intense sunlight. Always wear good quality polarized sunglasses. Really need to keep some sunscreen on hand though. I have seen guys with skin cancer and it is ugly disfiguring stuff. My Dad had it, but then he was a bit fair skinned, rarely wore a hat, and never wore sunscreen. Late in life, a lot of scratching/picking/bleeding of his face/nose etc.
