KWalrad Posted January 11, 2019 Share Posted January 11, 2019 Texas does have a butthole - it's Galveston. Houston is 50 miles up it. I've always found McAllen to be a nice little city during my travels and stays. Friendly people, easy to get around, good food, and affordable. Just be careful if heading out towards Rio Grande City.
