gwalchmai
I stumbled upon this on Amazon Prime last evening. It's very good. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07MBJRSZ9?ref_=imdbref_tt_wbr_piv&tag=imdbtag_tt_wbr_piv-20 Interesting to me how these guys loved the Thunderchief, even compared to other, more advanced types. gwalchmai
I remember watching Thuds do combat sims over my house as a 10 year old. I guess they were at 25 - 30 thousand feet or higher.Ā My vision was probably about 20-10 or better back then, and I swear I could see smoke puffs from under their wings. They couldn't have been shooting blanks, though.

I was in OK and it was back in the very early '60s. I was about 5.

I was a modeler and I remember being able to ID the 105s by their intakes.

Al Czervik
It was a grim reminder that a lot of good men died because of bad politicians. 1
