Illinois conceal permits finally having some effect.

"Neighbors who heard what happened said the woman did what she had to do."

Looks like the hoodlums in Chicago better look for a new career.

"On December 12, 2017, Breitbart News reported that a concealed carry permit holder shot a suspect who allegedly approached his car while brandishing a handgun. On May 11, 2017, Breitbart News reported that a permit holder shot an alleged carjacker on Chicago’s Southwest side.

On September 29, 2016, Breitbart News reported that a permit holder in Chicago opened fire when allegedly approached by two armed suspects. He killed one of the suspects and the second suspect fled the scene. On April 17, 2015, an Uber driver with a concealed carry permit drew his gun and opened fire to stop an attempted mass shooting in downtown Chicago."

Couple comments from the neighborhood.  Doubt politicians are saying anything.

"Neighbors who heard what happened said the woman did what she had to do.

“I’m kind of proud that that’s what she did, because she stuck up for herself,” another woman said of the shooting."

This is Southside Chicago, where they actually know what time of day it is.  You know, metal detectors and armed guards in schools.  The community seems grateful the lady took out the trash.

Saw this on the local news. Me and the wife both agree that she did what she had to do. Good for her.

Notice, she’s at a bus stop. She probably doesn’t have a lot of money. Yet, she got a gun and her CC. That was probably a lot of money to her. Yet, she did it and it saved her.
