If you allow for approximately 20 seconds per text message, that's still a full 3 hours every single day she spent sending him text messages. Every random thought they had was sent. It was maddening. Latest girl sends me maybe 5-6 texts a day to see how I'm doing or to ask about something and doesn't respond instantly with a smiley face. crockett Posted January 5, 2019 Share Posted January 5, 2019 (edited) My ex texted up to 2,000 a month, the damn phone was glued to her hands and / or head all day long. And I paid for that nonsense. She texted mostly with her mom and sister, the rest had been control attempts in order to keep an "eye" on me at all times. When I didn't reply quickly, I got a comment later on. In the end I stopped texting altogether, got a new number, and these days only my business partner has my cell phone number. He only calls if it is super important. I get zero texts, and he calls me maybe once a week. Everything else is on my terms, via email, when I'm ready. I was the slave to the damn phone and staff for over 20 years straight.
