Administrators Eric Posted December 27, 2018 Administrators Share Posted December 27, 2018 I was listing to an Everlast song earlier on the radio. The song was What It’s Like. There is a line in the song that goes something like, “he pulled out a chrome .45, talked some **** and wound up dead.” not unexpectedly, the word ‘****’ was blanked out. I thought it was overkill to blank out the whole phrase, ‘talked some ****...’ instead of just the one word, but whatever. What was really weird though was that they also blanked out, ‘chrome .45...’ what the hell. What possible reason could they have for blanking out the kind of gun? This **** is getting silly.
janice6
Control by emotion is regenerative. Someone else will always have more "emotional" response than you. Not long, and the whole song in unacceptable.
tous
What happens if you listen to the song on YouTube backwards? Should we call Tipper Gore? 6 of janice and I well remember the hysteria over rock and roll in the 1950s through the 1970s by the good people. I hope that dumb like that never repeats.

In "our" day, a popular French song was banned from the air because of the sound of the tale it told in French.
Peng
On an unrelated note, there seems to be an abundance of movie roles for maggot farmers lately.
