Huaco Kid
Marshall, TX 75 yards off the interstate, in Apu's truck lot / restaurant / quicky-mart. Given the location, I'd have to guess dog. But I hope it's a dog I never meet face-to-face. Edited December 24, 2018 by Huaco Kid 1

Moshe
You can tell, because a canine's claws are always extended, much like a bear.
MikeG36
My son said it's digging in like it's on the move or getting ready to take off. Too big for a dog or coyote. He also said it's big enough to kill you......

Good thing I didn't walk a couple hundred yards through a pitch-black scrubby field, after midnight, during a rain the night before. ...ahem...

MikeG36
I'm not sure how it is in Texas but up here in the PNW, we're seeing an increase in the wolf population. Prolly won't be long before somebody gets hurt.

PNWguy
Very large canine print. Impossible to speculate if wolf or domestic. I'd guess domestic based on location/region.

Walt Longmire
St Bernard or some other huge dog. Texas wolves wouldn't have feet that big.

Huaco Kid
I wish I had thought to take a picture of the row of them to show it's gait. They were straight-line, one-way only, headed towards the scrub. They weren't dancing around the whole lot, like a trucker's dog might have done after he let it run loose.
