Just wait and see, some democrat will try to stop the use of the money for the wall.

"A GoFundMe page has raised over four million dollars to fund President Trump’s border wall.

According to reports Wednesday, the impressive amount has been contributed over two-days by more than 30,000 people.

The creator of the campaign — Brian Kolfage — is a Purple Heart recipient and triple amputee. He said it’s up to average Americans to raise the money, because he believes Democrats would rather see the president fail than the nation succeed."

"Kolfage added, if everyone who voted for President Trump each donated $80, it would fund the entire wall."

Guys, get accountability, real accountability before throwing money at this

”we have made contact with administrative officials to secure a contact for the money...we already have many high level administration people helping”

means less than nothing.

Citizens can mail money as "gifts to the United States," according to the U.S. Treasury Department, but it's not clear whether the Department of Homeland Security can accept gifts.

Furthermore, the money can only go into a "general fund" that must be allocated by Congress.

As Dric902 pointed out above the money can't go for the wall directly, it will go to the greasy dumbocrats running congress and will most likely be used to pay for transvestite operations or other ridiculous things like gun bans.

too bad none of the people donating to that one will ever get charged with any crimes related to aiding and abetting criminals.

If any criminals commit crimes in the U.S. after using one of their ladders, everyone who donated should be charged as accessories to that crime.  If the illegal commits murder, throw the book at all of them, because they knowingly aided unlawful acts against the United States of America and it's citizens, and the murder would likely not have happened if they had not helped the criminals circumvent the law.

So there is no current method of allocating private funds to a project like this.  There seem to be similar types of funding, like repairs to national parks and the like, that have had private funding and governmental funds to match, but nothing that's the same.

Makes me wonder if it can't just be set up as a private contractor to oversee it, and then the funds used through the contractor to build at least a portion of the wall as a "donation" of the wall itself to the U.S. Government.  I'd imagine at that point all it would truly require is approval to do the actual work, and the only real government involvement would be things like inspectors to verify the integrity.

I'm sure that someone could come up with some mechanism that would allow these funds to be used directly for the construction of a border wall, the only question is whether it will even be allowed to happen.  The dems don't want a wall, and the repubs seem mostly spineless when it comes to what their constituents actually want, as well as all these people taking it into their own hands to do the work that they were hired to do would make them look really bad.  Pretty sure a lot of the voters will look at it as the fact that they couldn't do the main job they were voted in to do, and even got in the way of the one guy who kept trying to keep his promise to us that it would get done.

No matter what is done the libs are going to try and trash the fund.  I don't any reason why they can't bypass the government and work out some sort of deal with a contractor already working on the project.  Maybe  "we will build a mile and a half for every mile the gov. pays for".
