When I was in the Army, most of you probably know I was in The Old Guard. A buddy of mine from Basic was in the Caisson platoon. We saw the caisson teams on jobs in Arlington National Cemetery all the time, but I used to enjoy visiting him at the stables and seeing everything up close. They had at least a couple teams of Clydesdales and they were enormous creatures. My buddy sure loved working with them.


In Amish country a large number of draft horses are used, probably including Belgians and Clydesdales.

More relevant to this post, Budweiser used University of Tennessee vet school in Knoxville to work with their Clydesdales
