Trump and his supporters are being blamed for a climate of rage and hate – but here’s the truth

Recommended Posts

"This anger we're seeing, it didn't start with Donald Trump. I think it goes back at least a decade.

In 2008 you saw the elite bail themselves out while working people paid the price for their recklessness and incompetence.

Remember when then-presidential candidate Barack Obama said on April 6, 2008, “They get bitter, and they cling to guns or religion.”

How about when his wife Michelle said this on February 18, 2008; “For the first time in my adult lifetime, I'm really proud of my country.”

We saw hate and divisiveness -- from the top. And remember, from the left, not the right. From the elitists, not the populists."

Politics used to be a matter of debate.  The debate of political philosophies and how they were going to help all Americans. The ability to debate was achieved through education and the ability to see both sides of the argument.

Over the years the ability of our politicians to debate  has deteriorated into a virulent discourse of why the other guy, and all who associate with him is a terrible person, and must be punished.  Debate has be lost to character assassination and personal vilification, rather than a well thought out argument.

Politicians have gone from not saying why, what you believe is the right path for America to enhance the life of all it's citizens, but what horrible people oppose you and all your great ideas of how others should behave.  Everything good has  been lost in the quest for control.  The goal now is absolute control.

The promise by politicians now is not how to mend fences, but how to get even with those who are claimed to be too ignorant to understand how great your proposals are.  How these great proposals will have to be forced onto those who disagree by force of new laws through political power, not negotiation.  How it is better to have all dependent on government for their freedoms than it is to have the self reliance and determination to make this a better life for themselves and their families through personal effort, and not government largesse.  Remember, Einstein said, "If you can't explain it to a 6year old, you don't understand it yourself".  since many political ideas cannot hold up to scrutiny, then must then be forced onto the citizenry through laws.

Politicians have promoted dependence on government for all things, and to this end they have ensured that through the federally funded educational system, the liberal cause will be impressed on students through indoctrination.  The system is now feeding and supporting itself through politics and the school system.  The rules set up for schools ensure that the liberal foundation is all that is taught.  There is no place for critical thought in our schools.  All non-liberal ideas are heretical, and punished through control of students grades.  There is no recourse or moderation available to this control.

One technique is the "Zero Tolerance Policy".  This policy ensures that no one in the educational system will be held responsible for punishing conservative thought, and rewarding liberal thought.  If no one is to be held responsible for their decisions in the educational system, then no one can affect the outcome of the indoctrination under the guise of education.  It is self perpetuating.

All the while, this system is supported by liberal politicians who benefit from more political power and financial manipulation, which only enriches them at the cost of our citizens
