You went?!  Did you get a ride with anyone?  Did you go for the whole time?  I don't fly either - but have been a back-country tail-dragger fan my whole life.  I followed it as closely as I could online while it was happening and every hour or so another video or a great set of photos are posted.   I am convinced I need to reach out to Kevin Quinn and volunteer next year.

I was there Saturday and left Sunday morning.  No rides unfortunately, I am trying to figure out how to wrangle that.  In most of the Flying Cowboys videos they have empty seats.  Mark Patey said he can tell a big difference when his wife is in the back and she is less than half of what I weigh so that is probably a big part of it.

Kevin said it is growing a bit too fast so he might have to start limiting it.  That will probably leave the planeless like us out.

What a great group of people overall.  Over 400 planes and only half a bag of trash left behind that says a lot about them.

Yeah - I just watched a video of the 2015 event - wow it seemed so tiny compared to the videos of this year.   I am not surprised Kevin is considering limiting it - I figure if I were to go and not actually fly-in I would want to be productively supporting the event as a volunteer.  Heck, I'd be happy to go up to Bodads and volunteer for the breakfast.
