PNWguy Posted October 19, 2018 Share Posted October 19, 2018 I've heard that Japanese whisky is surprisingly good and wanted to get a bottle for my brother, who loves a good whisky. Was in a Japanese grocery store and picked out a bottle that was about $40. Got back to the US and handed out the gifts and my dad and brother immediately got out the whisky glasses and poured a couple. They both sniffed the glasses, then took a swig. Then they slowly lowered their glasses, looked at each other, then at me, and said that was some of the best whisky they had ever had. Then they both had some more and started giving out specific compliments about the flavor, smoothness, aftertaste, etc. I'm not a whisky drinker, but I do like Jameson over most other brands I've tried.
