I was arguing with one of my boys one time. I told him that I was going to leave him in the car and tell his mom it was an accident. He was about 17 at the time, so he just unlocked the door.

It’s hard to imagine, but at the same time I had a baby that didn’t sleep through the night until he was over a year old. 

 

The lack of sleep took a huge huge toll on me and my wife, physically and mentally. I was literally a walking zombie. I made mistakes at work and home. 

 

I also had some health issues that I blamed on the long term lack of sleep.
