Wow!............................

"We are open and affirm LGBTQ. We are feminists and I believe Jesus was, too. We are environmentalists, which I believe that’s the original mandate of the children of God to take care of the planet that we all know and enjoy. We are anti-war, which I believe Jesus was, too. We are all for racial justice, which Jesus was a Palestinian. Jewish rabbi. He was a person of color that was killed by white supremacy so we’re usually making every effort to be on the frontlines for racial justice. So that’s what sets us apart from many American churches."

I'm starting to think that the best thing for Christianity would be to revoke the title of "Pastor" from about half of the charlatans who hold it.

Some of what he says is true (I think Jesus would disapprove of true racism and true sexism, and I think the church has tried to make LGBT some sort of "special sin" beyond the sins we all commit every day).  But I don't think this guy knows WTF he speaks of.

As my grandpa once said "some were called, and some just went."

Yeah, no...  It's pretty clear the Bible sets apart sexual sins...

1 Corinthians 6:13-20 13You say, "Food for the stomach and the stomach for food, and God will destroy them both." The body, however, is not meant for sexual immorality but for the LORD, and the LORD for the body. 14By his power God raised the LORD from the dead, and he will raise us also. 15Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ himself? Shall I then take the members of Christ and unite them with a prostitute? Never! 16Do you not know that he who unites himself with a prostitute is one with her in body? For it is said, "The two will become one flesh." 17But whoever is united with the LORD is one with him in spirit. 18Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body. 19Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.

Isn't gluttony a sin as well? I maintained the elevators in several churches before I retired. Holy moly there were a lot of obese babes and fellers waddling in and out of church. Some were rolling because waddling was wishful thinking. Then there's the self righteous thing... But that's the handy thing about religion. You can form it to fit your lifestyle no matter what it is.

Weren’t Jesus killed by Italian whiteys out to conquer the world?

The Jews actually were the ones who sentenced him to death (or begged Pilate to do it).  The Romans did carry it out but in truth Pilate was in a tough spot.  He basically went along with the judgement from the Jews at the time to keep the peace.

(Simplified version).

The "seven deadly sins" came from the work of a monk in the 400s.  They aren't expressly "sins" but are actions that, some believe, can lead to barriers in the relationship between man and God.

Not all protestant denominations recognize them.
