Walt Longmire
Just watched a cow moose and her calf stroll along the lake shore, and then head out for a swim right from our beach. I really enjoy watching wildlife.

You'll just have to be satisfied with a mental pic. Just their head and hump showing as they contentedly paddled along. I swear they were smiling.

kerbie18
Stick a note to the moose that says "Bore Site" and today's date. Post the pic. Then, we'll know you're telling the truth. ?? 1

Moeman
Seen moose face to face and they make a normal sized horse look like a Shetland pony. Amazing wildlife.

We've got elk in the forests north of here. You can be sitting around a raging bonfire and they'll walk right out of the woods towards you. They'll slooooowly walk right over you while you're sitting in a chair if you don't watch out. It's tempting to try to feed them or pet them or something but the locals know that their brains are only as big as walnuts and you NEVER know what they'll do one second from now. Sometimes they just go berserk for no reason and attack a parked car or stomp a garbage can into a pancake.
Walt Longmire
Last fall a yearling bull moose smashed one of my kayaks. Used it to practice it's defense against coyotes.
