Clancy
Smith and Wesson Model 28, pinned and recessed. From the very faint line on the cylinder, and the complete absence of any discoloration on the face of the cylinder, I don't think it has ever been shot. $750 cash, out the door. 12

Huaco Kid
I've still got my S&W 36 and 66 (4") (both stainless) from the late 70's. They were the first two real handguns I bought, right out of high school. In Texas. Because we were cowboys! I still carry the 36 relatively often (+P+) (my wife always carried it in Texas. One day she pulled it out of her purse and the hammer was broken off (!!!) (girls.) so I filed it smooth and shiny. Now it's DAO, and it's very easy to pull out of a pocket.). I carry the 66 when camping and banging around in the forests. Because I'm still a cowboy.
Dynactus
Clancy, that's what I call a beautiful piece of work from S&W. Fine purchase.

TeaDub
Beautiful Clancy. I'm a big fan of wheel guns. Older Smiths are excellent. My first gun purchase was a 686 back in '85. I've never been without a revolver since. I never plan for that to change either. Shoot the snot outta that beast.

Borg warner
$750 bucks!!!??? I HATE YOU. (Not really) Congratulations! Now you need a Tyler T-grip adaptor and the gun will fit your hand much better. I have one on my Model 58 41 magnum and I wouldn't be able to shoot the gun with magnum loads without the adaptor. Plus the T-grip adaptors are "Period Correct' and look original on the gun. Edited August 17, 2018 by Borg warner

Grabbrass
That's very nice Clancy, but you're not supposed to bring candy to class unless you bring enough for everyone. (jealous) 1

I picked up a 1970 model (same year I was born) a couple of years ago and love it. Your's looks pristine!

Very nice. If my count is correct, you need one more to equal an even twenty. Perhaps an NAA mini 22 in the middle? Regardless, an awesome collection of old school goodness. ?

Collim1
Very nice revolver, and excellent price. I scored a near mint model 66-1 a few years ago for $600, and the prices seems to be slowly but steadily climbing. I’ve seen that gun in my area for $1000+. I would not have passed on one at that price. I somewhat have my eye out for a 27/28 because I don’t shoot hot magnums out of my K frames. The 28 could handle anything I want to shoot. Great find.
