Broke my John Deere tonight

Busted my ass to get it fixed also. I'm bad ass like that.

I was mowing (was it really mowing?) out in the brush off the lawn and the drive belt got caught and flipped off. Had to drop the mowing deck and crawl under it to get the belt back on. Then reinstall the deck. Several beers, lots of curse words, and a couple barked knuckles and I'm back on the machine.

Belts on real tractors drive fans, water pumps, and altrenators. ?

That said. I been there too man. Just a few weeks ago as a mater of fact.

I had one that would do that once. It was also a JD, but she was coming to the end of her useful life. I got to the point I could put the belt back on without having to dig the manual out.

I could have got it back on without removing the deck if I could have been able to see where it needed to go. If it does it again, I ain't removing the deck.
