PNWguy
I've got the biggest rhubarb plant I've ever seen growing next to my shop. About 6' across. Made some rhubarb crisp from it a couple of months ago. Love it!

GF and friends made concrete stepping stones with rhubarb leaves and cement a few times. Nice decorations for the garden.

jack_pine
Love me some rhubarb/strawberry pie. Warm with ice cream....... Don't the leaves of that plant turn toxic later in the season? I remember hearing that..................
Oneshotonepill
Ok. I had to look it up, because I've heard of, but never had rhubarb. Why is it used as a pie filling? Where I come from that would be cooked with ham hocks. All I can assess from wikipedia is that it's a tart healthy laxative. Sounds like something that my parents need to know about right away. Mixing it with strawberry is a travesty. I like strawberry but the tart of Rhubarb is why it is good and the strawberry takes too much away. All the damn pies they sell are strawberry rhubarb. I need to plant some rhubarb.
