What laws would you decree if you had unlimited power

I probably couldn't solve all the world's problems, but I often see obvious things that could improve our experience.

Just now I noticed that if Tupperware-ish container sizes were standardized we'd probably lower blood pressure across the board. e.g., a 3x5 container made by one company could use a 3x5 lid from any other company.

Thanks, I'll add more insights as they are revealed.

All government candidates could only use a state web page for campaigning.  No signs or commercials or campaign finance.

When you vote, in order for you vote for each position to count you have to correctly answer who the current person is.  If you don't know, it obviously does not matter to you so shove your vote up your ass.

Congress will comply with all mandates and laws that they pass for us peons.

Additionally, if they mandate something that requires extensive renovation to business places, the same shall apply to the halls of congress.  The funds for these renovations shall come from a pool of funds formed from the salaries of those who supported the legislation, and their pay during the time the work is being done shall be reduced by the amount drawn to perform said renovations.  If they support prevailing wage laws, the work will be done per those laws, with their commensurate costs.

If businesses have to make mandated renovations, the $$ to do so comes from their bottom line.  Those passing such laws 'for the good of the people' without regard to their costs to business should be required to pay (from their OWN pockets) for the same things they feel are so important for others.  This might temper their enthusiasm for throwing their weight around without any regard to the cost of their ideas.

Any citizen, elected official, or foreign agent who advocates publicly or in Congress for legislation, alteration of conventional interpretation of the US Constitution by the Judiciary, Amendment or Invalidation of the US Constitution itself for the purpose or with the potential effect of modifying or eliminating the traditional Rights and Freedoms that define the unique heritage of US Citizens shall immediately be taken into custody by Federal Authorities, be charged with the capital crime of sedition, held in isolation until trial, and if found guilty will be put to death by hanging on the following day after the decision of the court.

1.) Make mainstream media criminally and civilly liable for lies, bias and agenda. Remove "opinion" and "editorials", only fact reporting allowed.

2.) Prevent social media plattform providers from banning content creators based on their opinion.

3.) Better cartel / monopoly laws. Prevent large scale business like  Google / Youtube, AT&T, many insurance companies from merging with or buying other companies.

4.) Open market for health insurance companies, let them compete in all states.

5.) Regulate health insurance costs. No more $25,000 CT scans.

6.) Tax the **** out of companies who keep exporting middle class jobs to China and a like.

7.) Force the 2nd on all states, counties and cities. No more limitations by Dem run shitholes.

8.) Force federal immigration laws on all states, counties and cities. No more hiding.

At the very least, there will be a quiz and you must name the candidates for the three top positions on the ballot.  Oh, and you need to show a photo ID.  And be registered prior to the election.  Write the laws such that a person may register at the age of 17 to participate in an upcoming election provided that they will turn 18 prior to the election - we have computers that can handle such things if properly programmed.  "If Joe Schmoe is registered AND election date - birth date = >18, print Joe Schmoe's name on the eligible voter list to go to the polling place" (where his ID will be checked against the list and his name crossed off).

Oh, and you get your ass to town hall and register to vote.  You only have to do it once each time you move.  If you're abl to move your household, you can drag your butt in to register.  It's not rocket surgery, I managed to do it when I turned 18.  And nomore of this "motor voter" automatic registration crap.  See previous sentences in this paragraph.

And no more "same day" registration.  If an election somehow manages to sneak up on you in this modern world, then you're far to oblivious to everything around you to provide worthwhile input to the operation of government.
