Alpha Wolf Barrels

How many have tried Alpha Wolf barrels and how do you like them.?

The 35-9 alpha runs spectacular but the .40 35 alpha is so ammo picky I don't trust it for competition (which was the whole purpose in buying it). My other 40-9 LW pre-alpha barrels all have been great.

They were having a sale on "blemished" barrels, so I picket up a threaded 10mm barrel for my G20, it's the 6.6 inch length.  

 

Pulled it out of the packaging and didn't see a single thing that I could identify as a blemish.  No marks of any type.

I put it in the gun and worked the slide by hand a few dozen times.  It stuck the first few, but moved freely after that, so seems like everything is nice and tight.  As soon as it rains here a little bit I'll get back to you with a range report.

Never tried those but I bought a clearance PVD coated 4.3" Glock 27 barrel for about $70 and a 36 barrel for about $54 on the same clearance sale. Both are pretty nice. If I was looking for another Glock barrel I would be good with trying the Alpha Wolf.
