I took my son to fire machine guns today

My son is sixteen and I surprised him with a trip to the Frisco Gun Club today. He was able to fire a few magazines threw an AR full auto and an mp5 full auto. It was a lot of fun and well worth the money. The funniest thing happened near the end, he ran into a girl he knows from school that was there firing her Ruger 10-22 breakdown rifle and her father's M-14. He said he would have never guessed she was into guns. You just never know.

There was a guy on the range when we were there trying pretty hard to shoot himself in his non-firing hand too. Every time he fired, the non-firing hand came off his grip on the pistol and ended up in front of the muzzle. He was a freaking menace. The RO said he had been cautioned several times, but he kept doing the same thing. Dumbass.

I used to ahoot at Frisco Gun Club. I took my first Concealed Carry Class there. It’s a nice place so shoot. We left Frisco a year ago and moved to a lake surrounded by mountains in Western AR. We should have done it 10 years ago. We have a community range a mile  from the house. I have been shoptiing weekly with our last son. We love the Romanian AK47. It’s wicked on a pile of Haydite blocks or old toilets at combat ramges. What you did today is huge. Glad to hear about the young lady too.  My second date with my wife was at the gun range. She carried her 4” S&W 686 .357 Magnum and I brought my 1993 Glock 22.

There was one odd thing, my son looked over there entire retail area twice looking for their knives, but they don't sell any? I don't think I have ever been in a gun shop that didn't have knives for sale?

No knives? Hmmmm. They used to be an HK Showcase Store.  Are they still? They’re part of the reason I bought one. I like it but nothing can replace my old scratched up Glock 23. Hutchins BBQ is not too far from there and it great IMHO.

Nope, everything in their inventory had kind of a random feel to it. They probably had some HK product spread around the shop. Never heard of Hutchins BBQ, we will have to give it a try.
