We typically get 36-40 inches of rain per year.

In the last month, I’ve had 18 inches of rain, if that gives you any idea how Infeel about the subject.

Odly enough, barely 50 miles from here, I just heard reports that the corn in the fields is “firing”, which means it’s doing as it typically does in the fall when it dies.  (In other words, it’s a drought for those poor bastards.).

It's been dry as a popcorn fart in my area (NW Lower MI) lately but we got an inch of rain last night.  "Dry" here isn't the same as "dry" in the West.  If we don't get decent rain for a couple weeks, our greenery starts drooping, gravel roads get real dusty, topsoil is dry, fire danger high.  One good rain takes care of all that for another couple weeks.

We have had rain at least once a week, currently have severe storms all around, pouring down rain and lots of lightening. Supposed to have rain over the net three days.

Grass keeps growing and growing, mowing twice a week to keep up with it.
