My son loves runny yolks like me. Use the America Test kitchen recipe of very shallow water to steam them at exactly six minutes. Heaven. Bought an egg topper https://www.amazon.com/gp/your-account/order-history/ref=oh_aui_search?opt=ab&search=Egg

my son was given a choice of cheese for an omelet I was making him, gourmet stuff and crepe cheese he choose cream cheese. Now a standard here, with La Victoria taco sauce. Dang good.

eggs here are $.88 a dozen and we have special laws....

and real men do eat quiche, especially with bacon

Sorry went thru my orders... anyway if you like a runny yoke, 6minutes streamed the topper is a weight to send a shock wave thru the shell, this is another option https://www.amazon.com/Boiled-Topper-Spoons-Shells-Scissors/dp/B07CWD2KDK/ref=sr_1_12_sspa?ie=UTF8&qid=1531083297&sr=8-12-spons&keywords=egg+toppers&psc=1 an egg topper is a kitchen gadget well worth it.

I have a friend that bought a boat just for catching redfish.  He figures his favorite dish costs him about $400/lb.

With only few exceptions, I've had eggs for breakfast every day since I was a toddler, and that's well over 50 years ago. I hope they're still good for you :)

You can rest well.........I think: Eggs were good for you, then they were NOT good for you, but now they ARE good for you again - - - according to our government.

We eat soft boiled eggs quite often....and quiche.  A big quiche is half a week's breakfast around here.

I get mine from a good buddy--free range and in winter, organic food from the local Amish doods to supplement.  $3/doz.  They are _fantastic_.  He's reallllllly particular what he feeds his family.

Nope. That's what it costs to keep and feed healthy livestock, outside. Cage free doesn't mean squad. They are still packed by the thousands into multi-level aviaries, and they still never get to see the outdoors. Still fed crap.

That's the way to go. I'd keep some myself but that won't happen where I live. I'm working on it though. 5 acres should be plenty for a nice backyard range, dedicated shop, some chickens and a small organic garden.

Real men eat whatever they want.

I like runny yokes, and soft boiled, and I like my eggs over easy. People who are squeamish about runny yokes don't really how good the egg yoke tastes when it's cooked but not over-cooked. I like scrambled eggs because it has some of the flavor of the yolk, but I prefer omelets that I can top with sour cream and salsa. I like hard boiler eggs occasionally but much prefer deviled eggs.
