"But who are they really protecting? Many Germans believe they are protecting the migrant and alleged murderer, Mourtala Madou, as well as the German government guilty of allowing millions of migrants to settle in the country against the wishes of the German people."

"Angela Merkel’s pro-migrant government has banned German media from reporting on a barbaric crime involving a Muslim migrant who allegedly beheaded his one-year-old baby daughter on a train station platform in Hamburg."

If this story is true and accurate, I'm guessing Merkel's mindset is that the country needn't lose its head over this incident...

If you do a search on this story you will find numerous sources.  Of course some may just repeats of original source.

Interesting the guy who took a picture of the crime scene had his home raided and all his personal belongings were confiscated.

"When Hamburg blogger Heinrich Kordewiner posted the video on Facebook and his own YouTube channel, a police investigation was launched. Kordewiner’s apartment was searched by police and his personal belongings were confiscated. Kordewiner says he and his roommate were awakened at 6:45 am by a squad of prosecutors and police officers seeking access to their home. When they were denied, they forcibly gained access by drilling the door lock."

I just spent an hour and was reading up on German websites. It is true. No major networks reported on this, only a few newspaper, and they made it out to be a "regular" murder. The guy who published the video was hit by a search warrant, based on a so called anti Paparazzi law from 2014 that was written to protect people from being photographed in their privacy, as well as in in certain situations.

Problem is, that a case like this can cause a major civil unrest if it would be spread through the media with an agenda, and the government has a certain duty to prevent its people from getting hurt in a resulting unrest. Many more people would get killed. Some will think that an unrest would be justified because so many Germany citizens don't agree with the current refugee circumstances, but this entire situation isn't that simple.

Keep in mind that there are no borders between countries in the European Union anymore. None. You can drive from Germany to France and Spain like you do between states in the US. The refugee problem is huge, it has been one for the European Union for a long time. There was no way for Germany to decline all refugees while they arrived in Italy or France. Germany would have needed a border all around to prevent refugees from arriving. That would have never been possible. Not politically, not economically, and also not ethically.

And Germany could also not expect that all other 28 European Countries would build walls and laws to prevent them from coming in. While Germany is an economically strong country, there are several EU countries that could not afford to enforce a refugee blockage, let alone being successfully.

Another issue is, that many EU countries as well as citizens do have very high ethical standards. They do expect their countryman to help, even if some bad apples come alongside.

This entire situation is extremely complex. While I don't agree with Germany's refugee laws, I don't now of any doable alternative that would have prevented many of the current downfalls. There is no win:win situation possible until the stream of refugees breaks up naturally, probably by helping those nations that struggle.

Maybe it’s time for the people to protest if Germany won’t protect its own.

The question is, how do you want to prevent refugees from getting into the European Union? You think our border with Mexico is long?

  • Border length with Mexico: 1,954 miles
  • Border length European Union: 8,359 miles

That is 4 times as long. Basically uncontrollable.

And here comes the kicker. Most refugees in the EU arrive by sea.

  • Border length European Union Coastline‎: 41,006 mi

Granted, most arrive in the south, but again, the European Union border is not enforceable. It is way too long.

They would have entered either way.

Hungary is smaller but they are doing it. Germany may not be able to do it outright but they can take away the incentives and the first time one mooslem commits a crime, send them back where they came from without any delays.

While the fens seems to work on that part of their border, who knows how many go through Romania instead. The fens is only 110 miles long.

The general amount of refugees decreased by a lot in 2017, but there will be more spikes in the future. We will see if Europe has learned a lesson and prepares in time, but I think they have too many socialistic governments by now, and they won't close borders.

Merkel is so invested in her Muslim onslaught she has no real choice but to silence this stuff and keep people ignorant of what she is doing to them.

the German`s elected a whole new Government,a new leader and a set on new laws and still Merkel is dug in like a tick.

The USA is a place where most media outlets push agendas and lies while concealing the truth as well. And yet most of the time the truth comes out. I suspect the same is true in Germany. You can get the mass media to lie for you and produce fake news, but those who care are still getting the real news. What's unfortunate is that there will always be some percentage of the population who turns on the German version of CNN and ignorantly think that journalist integrity still exists and that they are "reporting" on world events.
