A lady, who was incoherently angry, brought back her brand new riding mower because it wouldn't run. They brought it back to us to check out. She had filled the crankcase with gasoline and the gas tank full of oil. They gave her a refund. One uses something called the Stirling Rule and you use the C. CI and D scales and, as always, you keep the scaling and interpolation in your own head. Remember, the slide rule is based on logarithms, not integers. I could take you through the steps, but then I'd need three naps and a chili dog.
