railfancwb Posted January 24, 2022 Share Posted January 24, 2022 I’m on several emails lists, such as Brownells, where the company wants me to buy something and includes suggestions in the email. Recently I’ve noticed the companies behaving like an overeager salesperson, following me around while I browse. If I click on something for whatever reason and don’t buy it I soon get an email saying in effect “Have another look at _________” Ya know, I’ve never appreciated clerks in stores hovering around me - whether to sell me something or to keep me from stealing it.
