Yeah, it’s an Alfa Romeo 8c.

XLNT! I was intrigued by the dual overhead cam straight 8 engine which was 2905 cc's which is 177 cubic inches. The engines were also supercharged.

The Alfa Romeo 8C was originally a range of Alfa Romeo road, race and sports cars of the 1930s. But in 2004 Alfa Romeo revived the 8C name for a V8-engined concept car which made it into production for 2007, the 8C Competizione. The car pictured is a 1938 Alfa Romeo 8C 2900B Mille Miglia Roadster

The Vittorio Jano designed 8C straight 8-cylinder engine was Alfa Romeo's primary racing engine from its introduction in 1931 to its retirement in 1939. In addition to the two-seater sports cars it was used in the world's first genuine single-seat Grand Prix racing car, the Monoposto 'Tipo B' - P3 from 1932 onwards.

That is a truly beautiful car. It is a modern re-creation of an auburn Speedster built by a company called Deco Rides in New Jersey  and is powered by different engines and drivetrains including a Maserati Quattroporte V8 backed by a Torqueflite automatic transmission. The 4930 cc 4.9 litre (300 cubic inches) wet sump engine has four overhead camshafts and two valves per cylinder and has four 42 DCNF Weber carburetors providing the air/fuel mixture.

The fully enclosed wheel pontoons can be removed from the car to change the tires, which are mounted on wire wheels. The car is the same length and wheelbase as a Buehrig-bodied Auburn boattail, but it is ten inches lower at the cowl height measurement.
