Batesmotel
So apparently when Flyboy punched out he left the bird on autopilot with the transponder turned off and a full load of fuel. Something ain’t right here. 4
ChuteTheMall
Does it seem that Marine Aviation training has more peacetime accidents than all other services combined? Or is that just the media? https://www.cnn.com/2023/08/27/asia/aircraft-incident-us-defense-personnel-australia-intl-hnk/index.html#:~:text=May 17%2C 2015%3A A Marine,Hawaii%2C leaving two Marines dead.&text=December 13%2C 2016%3A An MV,Australia%2C leaving three Marines dead.
Paul53
Wonder if they looked in Vegas yet? I heard from a friend he saw the F35 and a Lear Jet headed for Vegas inn very close formation! Should be easy to find, just look where there's nothing on Aviation radar. 1

Just me thinking, sure there must be a good reason.

Usually defectors must bring the airplane with them as a condition for political asylum.

Paul53
Right after takeoff the plane, B model (which will go down in the VTOL hall of shame with Ospreys & Harriers) says go away so the pilot bails as instructed. CONJECTURE: as ordered. The plane definitely wasn't snagged by, in order of likelihood, Israel to do our dirty work, China in return for Taiwan, or Russia in return for 5 American prisoners and reconsider the value of Ukraine. So for one plane we got what? The pilot will be fail his aviation physical, get a big promotion and shiny things for his chest, finish in his choice of bases. Red October, move over for silver airplane. There! Any questions?? Wait, 2 guys in black trenchcoats want to ta

One of the detection concepts for stealth aircraft proposed, is to look at the sky and look for a reduction in the thermal background noise. the sky should have a uniform distribution of thermal noise if nothing is blocking it, even if you can't "see" what is blocking it. This is due to the stealth aircraft blocking the thermal noise behind it and thusly reducing the noise magnitude in a small select portion of the sky. So detection would be a "hole" (reduction) in the thermal noise level in a small portion of the sky. 2

The Chinese have likely hacked the FCS, aircraft is on its way to Mexico to pick up 37 illegal invaders and 50 pounds of cocaine. Anybody see a large balloon with PLA written on the side floating near the aircraft? 1
