I liked her back in the 60's when I was in high school when she was (and they were) Ike and Tina Turner and my favorites songs were "I think it's gonna work out fine" and "Goodbye, so long" It was the first soul music I really liked but later I got into Motown (Supremes, Temptations, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder) and groups like Sam and Dave and Eddie Floyd ("Knock on Wood") and later Otis Redding.

It's not ALL crap, but most of it is. These days, all I listen to is talk radio in and music CD's when driving and whatever I can find on Youtube at home. I like music from the 40's, 50's, 60's, 70's, and 80's, but nothing much beyond 1990 except for Daniel Rateliff and the Nightsweats, a band that emerged in the early 2000's and that I first heard on sirius radio in a rental car about 8 years ago while driving from Nashville to Memphis to visit Graceland.

Occasionally I will surf the FM dial looking for something new that's any good, but it's slim pickin's

The latest CD I'm listening to is a fairly recent CD by Eric Clapton which came out in 2016 called "I still Do" that I checked out from the library

When I try to find music on the radio while at home the area seems quite rural. Stations don’t want to waste money sending signals to cows. I have a somewhat crippled cat who I keep inside for her protection. Trying to find a consistent radio signal for her company all I found was Clear Channel 650 AM WSM. The two of us are developing an affinity for country music beyond what we had before.
