DAKA
We are NOT going to Disney, because they are WOKE, so can we go to Universal (Asking for a friend)
Batesmotel
New leadership at House of Mouse. Looks like the woke executives are getting their walking papers. This was all because Walt’s granddaughter was top dog from the family and is an LGBTQRSUVWXYZ shill. People spoke with their money and it looks like it is working. Keep up the pressure until things really change. 1

Isn’t the new/old CEO at Disney the person who was in charge during the transformation to “woke”?

Bob Iger is his name. Not sure if he was in charge when the woke transition started;

No. He got fired. New guy was an executive at Disney a while back. Came out of retirement to get things back on track. 1
railfancwb
I was under the illusion I’m middle class until I checked prices for DisneyWorld tickets. 3
DAKA
It's hard to imagine how a family of 4 can afford a week (?) few days (?) at Disney when you figure in Airfare, Hotel, Food, and Tickets! I guess it becomes a multi year saving event ...

There's always folks who don't ask "How much does it cost?" but rather "How much are the payments?"

Kinda like owning nothing and being happy.

railfancwb
A fixed low interest rate fully amortizing 30 year mortgage is a reasonable hedge against inflation.
