Administrators Eric Posted November 20, 2022 Administrators Share Posted November 20, 2022 If you guys haven't been following this news, the Pima Air Museum, in Tucson, just received an F117 named Dark Angel. The F-117 was trailered down to Tucson from Nevada, a few days ago. The guys at Pima are in the process of reassembling the aircraft and getting it ready for display. Not that I needed one, but that is a good reason for another visit.

Maser
That Nighthawk sure has seen better days. Hopefully that tired bird gets a competent restoration.

Looks as though they stripped the anti-radar coating off it.
janice6
I had a project some time ago where I needed RF absorbent coatings to "shape" RF field distributions. I found a myriad of conductive paints/rubberized with conductive metal imbedded, and all of varying degrees of absorbency. Quite an interesting product area.

The burn pit at Groom Lake is infamous.
